As a globally active company, ACTIA takes its responsibility towards society and the environment seriously. We are guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations in order to help shape a sustainable future. Our main focus is on the following goals:

The Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) provides technical support and capacity building for the SDGs and related thematic focus areas.

Procedures, audits, e-learning and training ensure that ACTIA is collectively and individually committed to respecting the principles of integrity on a daily basis in line with the recommendations of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations and the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development). We are committed to sustainable development and have once again been recognized and rewarded for this by the GAIA Index (47/230).

ACTIA places human rights and the environment at the heart of the Group’s concerns in order to ensure its sustainable success. In addition, we share a commitment to social and environmental responsibility with all ACTIA subsidiaries. ACTIA’s Code of Ethics, signed in 2014, reflects the values so strongly held by the founding families, such as respect and integrity.

The Group has no presence in countries that are on the blacklist of tax havens. ACTIA also has a department dedicated to export control. All Group companies actively promote the application of and respect for the fundamental conventions of the International Labor Organization.

More under: ACTIA Group – Commitments to sustainability

Sustainability is one of the core values of the ACTIA Group and is actively practiced by all employees and the corporate group. We proactively implement well thought-out measures that combine the three pillars of sustainable development:

We ensure that these values are conveyed both internally (employees) and externally (customers, suppliers, various partners).
Corporate social responsibility is at the heart of ACTIA’s commitment.

Social and environmental commitment at all levels

In addition to the ISO 14001 standard and other legal requirements, ACTIA implements social and ecological concerns in a concrete manner.

ACTIA minimizes resource and waste consumption, prevents pollution and saves energy to drive the transition to a circular economy.

We promote eco-design in the product development process. We pursue an innovative, environmentally conscious approach when selecting materials and components. We also value sustainability in our production and storage methods and use resources such as water, CO2 emissions, electricity and natural gas responsibly.
