I+ME ACTIA is the chosen exclusive supplier of the CAT by GM. CAT stands for CAN Analyzer Tool and is a RS232 to CAN PC based port adapter to monitor and analyze the CAN bus data on a vehicle. The tool allows the user to create and change configurations. These configurations will consist of certain displayed frames and signals. In online mode the CAT acquires, stores and shows data coming from the CAN bus. The tool allows to transmit certain frames with the CAT and offers diagnostic services to interpret frames.   USB CAT   The USB CAT can be connected either to the serial port of the PC or to the USB port. The USB CAT comes with an additional adapter cable to USB 1.1.
